Greetings from the

Pondering What Pleases
When I look within at my inner journey, one thing still amazes me. It is that I learned to be a good writer. I received a significant jolt as a college freshman that went deep into my psyche and took a while to heal. It was getting a D in Freshman English literature; we were to write one essay after another about the literature we were reading. Lucky for me, I had a completely different experience with a different teacher when I repeated the course, getting an A. The key was the second teacher had us write about topics that interested us. As time passed, I overcame the serious block to my self-image. I am so grateful that I can easily express my ideas, observations and experiences that have a theme of inner healing, growth, and deepening connection to the Divine. It gives me great joy that others have benefitted by my writings as well.
Take a moment to pause; review your life and acknowledge the positive growth you have made to overcome an inner block or misperceptions about yourself.
Fortunate Blessings,
Suzanne

I think many of us defer our gratitude, thinking that thankfulness and acceptance of who we are will come when we are in a different physical location; perhaps on a beach or a mountaintop. There are many “traps” in focusing on anywhere, but where we currently are located. It is very fun to escape the “ordinary” life for a bit, in retreat or vacationing. However, the kicker is that our beliefs and attitudes follow us wherever we choose to go...
