A New Year Of Acceptance

by John Price

Of life, love, peace, and joy. There's no one to blame if we miss out on the light-filled path of all that is good, true and beautiful. We were created to live a life of continuous celebration, and 2013 is the year to spread the cheer, applaud the wonders, and salute ourselves as members of the Divine Royal Family.

Have I gone a bit too far with this? I don't think so. The power of choice is one of our precious Gifts, so join me this year in choosing only days filled with divine order, love, forgiveness, playfulness, abundance and every other good thing we can think of.

Remember that when we are in tune with our own Authority, we know that Spirit is totally responsible for our life.  Nothing is more important than realizing the Presence of God within.

What it all boils down to is a conscious acceptance of our good, saying Yes! to the Givingness of God. All that Spirit is and has is being pressed upon us at every moment, and our responsibility is to recognize and accept this infinite Good.

Jesus gave us a key to life when he said, “It is done unto you as you believe." Belief is consciousness, consciousness constitutes our prayer, and prayers are always answered according to consciousness. As Ernest Holmes puts it, "Life will be to you what you are to It." And Emerson wrote: "We are what we think about all day long."

Let's look at the choices we are making in life.  Again quoting Holmes:

"You are a spontaneous self-choosing center of Life, in the great drama of being, the great joy of becoming, the certainty of eternal expansion. You could not ask for more and more could not have been given. “(From This Thing Called You)

So isn't it time to consciously choose the fullness of life? Isn't it time to accept loving relationships, wholeness, abundance, and success in the great drama of being?

In 2013 let's taste life with a new appetite. Spirit has many special recipes for us to enjoy.

From the pen of Emerson: All life is an experiment...the more experiments you make the better...Explore and explore... To  live  the  greatest  number  of  good hours is wisdom...nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm...Don't waste life with doubts and fears...We are the builders of our fortune...Life is a progress and not a station.
