Truth
"I know the truth about who I am and what I deserve. I am a loving, powerful, growing, aware person. I deserve a life to pursue my dreams, to self-actualize my potential, to discover personal happiness, and to be creative. I feel my spiritual wholeness and a connection to the greater plan and purpose for my life. I am a spiritual being, waking up to my true nature and magnificence. I know the truth and it sets me free."

Greetings from the
Editor:
A Gift
Recently, I was touched to learn that my 13 year old niece, Brianna, choose one of the books I wrote for a school book report, Enlightening Cinderella. Even thought it is a stretch for a young teenager to understand many of the concepts in the book, it is planting seeds in her mind; and that excites me. It brought a smile to my face and so much joy in reading her report. You might like to see the book report.

Personal Growth

’Tis the season to be jolly. Thanksgiving kicks off the holiday season for us in the USA. November and December are special months stirring the desire to open our hearts to others, connect to friends and family, count our blessings, and remind ourselves of the meaning behind our spiritual traditions. Sometimes we get off track and are not so jolly. Why is that? Many times we have hidden desires and higher than normal expectations that can set us up for hurt feelings and disappointment. We hear about fun family times others are experiencing or watch commercials on TV showing merriment as families sit around a turkey dinner laughing and having fun.
Sometimes we feel especially vulnerable if our life is not completely on track and we secretly wish others would show special kindness and love to us when we feel overwhelmed or needy. Giving is emphasized during the holiday season, so we hide some of these feelings from others and sometimes even from ourselves. Let us take a few moments to preview our holiday season so we do not get caught off guard with our hidden expectations and agendas.

T'was the night before Onemass and all through the land,
Our minds, once asleep, were about to expand.
How could we lay sleeping all snug in our beds,
When visions of Oneness now danced in our heads?

An ancient Chinese blessing wishes recipients, "May you live in interesting times." Well, we now have the answer to that prayer. Actually, all times are interesting, just in different ways.
During the last week and month the economy seems to be at the top of most people's list of urgent issues to think and talk about. Today the U.S. government is issuing a new policy to deal with the economic upsets of late. Below are some suggestions on how to get to a better feeling place about the economy, and generate practical results for yourself and others.
Here is my six-point plan. I am not an economist, and frankly I don't understand all of the complexities of the current market. I do, however, understand the relationship between thought, belief, feeling, attitude, expectation, identity, and practical prosperity. So here is my six-point plan, which will surely work if you apply it:

Fear. Worry. Panic. Happiness. Peaceful. Loving. How did you feel just reading these words? My guess is that chemical changes occurred within your body while reading these two sets of words that describe our feelings. The first three words caused tension and resistance while the second set brought relief and peace. There is nothing more important than how you feel. Read that again and let it sink in. There is nothing more important than how you feel.
With all that is happening in our country and the world today, now more than ever we need to be watchful of how we are feeling from moment to moment. Unfortunately, fear and worry seem to be running rampant right now. People are looking at external events and having it affect how they feel. But, as Shakespeare said so eloquently, “nothing is good or bad, thinking makes it so.” We do our own thinking so we get decide how we process everything.....

Story of Mellen-Thomas Benedict Journey
In 1982 I died from terminal cancer. The condition I had was inoperable, and any kind of chemotherapy they could give me would just have made me more of a vegetable. I was given six to eight months to live. I had been an information freak in the1970’s, and I had become increasingly despondent over the nuclear crisis, the ecology crisis, and so forth. So, since I did not have a spiritual basis, I began to believe that nature had made a mistake, and that we were probably a cancerous organism on the planet. I saw no way that we could get out from all the problems we had created for ourselves and the planet. I perceived all humans as cancer, and that is what I got.
That is what killed me. Be careful what your world view is. It can feed back on you, especially if it is a negative world view. I had a seriously negative one. That is what led me into my death. I tried all sorts of alternative healing methods, but nothing helped.
