Holiday Blessings
It is the holiday...again and I send blessings to you and your loved ones. I feel such gratitude for all the experiences life has brought me and brings as the year closes with a new beginning around the corner. I like to remember that celebrating traditions creates bonding opportunities with others. When I am together with loved ones or close friends it rekindles my feelings of connectedness and renews my sense of belonging.
All three of my daughters and their families were at my house for Thanksgiving Day this year. It was rich and full and intense and joyful for a few days. We even went for a family photo in Memorial Park across from our house. Here is my beautiful family:
Besides my family and close friends I am grateful for is the people I connect with through my internet business. Recently, I heard from a woman who I had never met. She shared that reading one of my books ten years ago gave her the courage to leave a destructive relationship. It brought me joy to hear how she is doing today, even though I had no idea this was happening for her or my impact on her life. When I hear someone is able to make positive changes in their life from my teachings, it adds to my feelings of fulfillment. Her email was very life-affirming for me. I would love to hear from you too.

Happy Holidays,

Then again, it is inevitable that certain personalities will rub us the wrong way at times and conflict will arise. The extra time demands and the way others are can’t be changed, however, we can use these situations to grow in self-awareness...

We’re moving, though we don’t know where exactly. The only certainty is that we need to be out of our current abode in two weeks’ time. Our situation makes me think of Woody Allen’s wise words, “If you want to make God laugh, tell him about your plans...”
